What a wonderful place to stay. Thank you for the opportunity for us to be able to share this piece of paradise of yours. It’s been just what we all needed. I thought a week would be long enough but I was wrong, longer would be great. Thankyou for making our Christmas extra special, the tree, crackers and presents were such a thoughtful touch, as were the fruit which was enjoyed by all of us. It’s hard to say goodbye, but we will be back and like others would like to share it with family. People travel so far to get to paradise. Luckily we’ve found our piece in our own homeland. This resort is quite unique and we have absolutely loved our time here. The venue has been so nice that we've rarely been tempted to go and explore off site. We have travelled much of our lives and this ranks as one of the best places we have ever stayed at, with facilities that out rank the best hotels. Having a wallaby and cassowary (& chick) walking through the grounds was a special bonus.

"LOST PARADISE" was just what we needed after many busy months at work. The cottage is a peaceful haven surrounded by colourful tropical gardens and adjoins a beautiful outdoor living space with a hot tub from heaven. We enjoyed the swimming pool plunge after bubbling away in the tub, lazing by the pool and the walks on the beach a short drive away. Capuccino's were easy to find in Mission Beach along with restaurants and take aways. All in all "Lost Paradise" is a great place to unwind and recuperate.

'Wow' paradise is the only way to describe this place. And to think it is only up the road. We loved the peace and serenity so much we didn't want to leave....so we extended our stay. Tim and Michelle you have done a fantastic job with this mini resort, and we especially credit you both for bouncing back after the cyclone. Thanks guys for a truly spectacular stay. Our honeymoon has been fantastic. What a job you have done here. We have 6 acres just out of Townsville and I am going to be cracking the gardening whip when we get home, ha-ha. Your rates are so cheap for what this property is. The little personal touches are fantastic. Next time we're here you will have to come over for a chat and a beer. I'd like to say I'll tell all my friends but some spots just shouldn't be too 'found', ha-ha. No, we will definitely be recommending this place. We'll definitely be back in 12 months for our first anniversary, I can't rave enough about the accommodation, everything is just spot on. I can't believe people pay thousands of dollars to travel to faraway places when this hidden treasure is in our own backyard. I'm pretty impressed, our honeymoon was total paradise and all for $175/night with only a short drive. And we get to contribute to helping you guys get back to business after Yasi. Awesome resort guys. P.S. It's great to see a Mission Beach local has done this, not an investor from another place.

We can thoroughly recommend a holiday at Lost Paradise, Mission Beach. We had the best getaway ever. The accommodation is outstanding and situated in the rainforest. The birdlife is spectacular. Everyday we saw a cassowary feeding outside the cabin. Alltogether a most enjoyable experience.
